Spuds in Belfast

Spuds is a chip shop on Shaftesbury square in Belfast that most people haven’t visited whilst on the dry side of drunkenness in their life. The only food I have ever been able to get in it is a mixture of chips curry sauce and chicken which to be honest tastes good but is never quite what I fell in to the shop wanting.

• Me: Could I have a gravy chip?
• Customer service assistant: DON’T DO GRAVY CHIPS
• [Wait for 5 seconds]
• Me: Could I have a curry chip?
• Customer service assistant: Do you want chicken with that?
• Me: [thinking to myself] If I wanted chicken with it surely I would have asked for chicken. Not to worry, to keep everyone happy just say yes, and don't call me Surely.
• Me: Yes
